I recently had the opportunity to interview with Google for the role of Software Engineer. The interview process was challenging and intellectually stimulating, focusing heavily on problem-solving ability, data structures, algorithms, and clear communication.

The online assessment consisted of 2–3 coding problems to be solved within a fixed time limit.

Topics Covered:

• Arrays and Strings
• Hashing
• Greedy approach
• Basic Graph / Tree concepts

Experience: The problems were of medium to hard difficulty. Efficient solutions were required, and brute-force approaches were not accepted due to tight constraints. I focused on optimizing time complexity and handling edge cases carefully.
