Software Engineer Interview Experience - Israel

Process

This was the worst and most unprofessional, disrespectful interviewing process I have ever experienced.

I had a phone call with a kind recruiter and was afterward scheduled for the first technical interview. I received an extensive list of subjects to prepare on, which seemed promising.

However, at the scheduled time for the interview, no interviewer showed up. I emailed candidate support, and after 40 minutes of waiting, they replied that they would schedule a new time. The rescheduled interview occurred, and I was subsequently scheduled for four more interviews.

Then, again, no interviewer showed up, without any prior notification. I was left waiting in front of the Google Meet call for someone to appear, but no one did.

At the next scheduled interview, the interviewer did show up but was very impatient. She mentioned she might need to leave before the end of the interview due to other work obligations. She did not let me finish a single sentence, scolded me, and was disrespectful.

At this point, I withdrew my candidacy. I had had enough.
