Process
The interview process included:
- One timed coding challenge with two short problems.
- One phone interview with an engineer and a shared Google Doc.
- Four 45-minute on-site interviews with engineers from various teams and varying seniority/experience levels.
The whole process went very smoothly but was quite long. It allowed for plenty of preparation and easy communication with my recruiter.

Pros: Google is an awesome place. Lots of really smart people from all over, with a great mix of diversity.
They strike a nice balance of making an impact but not overworking yourself.
Cons: It's a pretty laid-back environment, but sometimes that means things move a little slowly. I prefer things to move more quickly, but it's difficult because of big company bureaucracy.
