I received the response from HR two days after submitting my application on the company career website. The phone screen involved a programming problem that was easy to solve with recursion. Starting with a vague problem statement, I needed to ask the interviewer questions to clarify it, a process that is also applicable to the on-site interview. The on-site interview was well-organized. While it was a bit annoying to spend a lot of time traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast and then back again, the interview itself was a good experience. The questions were not as hard as I had expected, but I still made a mistake on the last one, and I was almost exhausted by the end of the day.
