Preparation: ~150 LeetCode problems over the summer and practiced with a friend on a whiteboard a couple of hours a day for two weeks.

I explained my thoughts out loud and drew pictures/examples on the board, asking my interviewers if they were following my ideas. Sometimes they would give me hints or point out flaws in my ideas. Once they liked it, I would write the code on the board and go through some examples.
