Pros: There is no finer collection of engineering talent on the planet. Good perks, great free food. Fantastic talks from visiting speakers.
Cons: Google doesn't compete on speed; it competes on quality.
In that regard, it is a lot like Blizzard.
So if you're entrepreneurial and like to attack new markets, this is not a good place for you.

Pros: There is a variety of teams to choose from.
Flexible work hours and free food.
Opportunity to make good connections.
Very easy to switch teams.
Cons: Some teams might not have good projects. It is very important to select teams intelligently. You will be using technologies developed by Google, so there is less opportunity to build those technologies by yourself.
