Software Engineer Interview Experience - Mountain View, California
Process
A 1-hour phone screen (which can sometimes be skipped if you've interviewed before and made it to the on-site) and then a full day of on-site interviews (currently done over Google Meet because of COVID).
While you need to have a resume that will catch the recruiter's eye, past that, none of the interviewers will ask you about it. Everything is whiteboard problem-solving and/or software design questions, except for one soft skills/behavioral interview during the on-site, which is pretty standard and can be passed with common sense.
