Process

Just like everybody else, there were two phone screens and four onsite interviews. You need to write code using Google Docs during the phone screens, and the difficulty of the questions is the same as the onsite interviews. So, you can really feel how the questions will be.

For the onsite interviews, Google paid for my hotel for one night, breakfast, and lunch. Onsites are one-on-one, and you need to write code on the whiteboard. They didn't ask me much about myself, though. Most of the time was spent writing code.

Questions

The questions are not as difficult as I thought, though. Compared to the book "Cracking the Code Interview," I can say the questions at Google are about 50% as hard as the questions in the book.
