Software Engineer Interview Experience - Mountain View, California
Process
I was selected through an online puzzle game (the "foo bar challenge," which appeared while browsing on Google). After solving it, I received an email to submit my resume. I was then directly called for an onsite interview consisting of five rounds.
Questions
Could not disclose due to NDA.
Most of the interviewers asked broad questions, which I had to narrow down by asking follow-up questions. Many of these questions were based on specific product challenges they had been working on, such as YouTube performance.
