Software Engineer New Grad Interview Experience - Qatar

Process

The interview process consisted of an OA, and then a call with a recruiter who briefed me on the interview process. The recruiter told me from the beginning that even if I passed the interviews, there was no guarantee of being matched with a team, but I continued with the process.

A few weeks after the call with the recruiter, I had the virtual onsites. It was four rounds:

  • One round of "Googly-ness" questions (behavioral)
  • Three coding rounds

Two weeks after the interviews, I received a call from a recruiter informing me that I had cleared the interviews.

Questions

1st round: Googlyness (behavioral). One question I remember.

2nd round: Recursion + dynamic programming question with strings.

3rd round: Ambiguous question to design a function that calculates the toll costs for cars/license plates on a highway.

4th round: Linked list question.
