First, I received an email from the recruiter stating that my profile was selected for a phone interview.
The email was very lengthy and included a lot of information, such as job details, interview availability, and preparation materials. I then provided my availability for the phone interview and received confirmation.
On the interview day, I was asked about one of my projects and presented with a single coding question.
While I was working on the question, the interviewer seemed busy with something else and was just listening to me. I had expected Google interviews to be interactive, but my experience was a bit different. I was not able to complete the problem, likely due to a lack of practice and stress.
Two days later, I received a call from the recruiter informing me that I was not selected. The interview process was well-managed, and the recruiter was very responsive.
Tip for the interview: Just review basic data structures and algorithms.
