This was my first interview ever.
I applied through the Google Careers page and was contacted by a recruiter. We set up an interview for the week after.
It was a technical phone interview, involving a shared Google Doc for writing code and discussion.
Questions
Parsing and evaluating a given string which represents a line of code in a hypothetical programming language.
I was given the rules of the language, including its syntax and how different symbols are to be understood.
Discuss testing the program in different ways.
