I first got in touch with a Google recruiter via LinkedIn, and from there I was scheduled for a phone interview.
This interview was a 45-minute technical interview, during which I was given a coding problem and had to write code on a shared Google Doc while speaking out my thought process with the interviewer over the phone.
Once I passed this, I went into the New York office for a series of four in-person, 45-minute interviews. Unfortunately, my first interviewer showed up 30 minutes late, which threw off my schedule. However, each of these four interviews followed the same pattern as the phone interview, except that I was now coding on a whiteboard.
Overall, the interview process was great and has been a good experience for me. Unfortunately, I fell short of an offer, but it was still a pleasant process.
They asked questions regarding recursion, dynamic programming, and other common computer science topics.
