Process

Applied online.

Got a match from an external recruiter. She took like 3 weeks to set up the 45-minute screening.

Then, a week before my screening, I got another email saying, due to business needs, the position has been closed. Then I was like, "Okay, no problem."

Again, another recruiter matched instantly and said I have a similar role at another team. I got put in a 45-minute screening a week later.

A principal dev came and no intro, nothing, just jumped straight into the Google CoderPad. We solved like 3 problems in 45 minutes: easy, medium, hard. Until the last minute, he was still asking questions and follow-ups. I was able to answer most.

Then he mentioned, "Oh, sorry, we never introduced." Then he introduced himself and left.

I got rejected the very next day.

TBH, felt like a waste of time. Not sure what the expectations are, but 4-5 months of hiring period, wasting candidates' time, not giving appropriate feedback, and who knows, even if you get hired, due to business needs, they might lay you off, LOL.
