Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Diego, California

Process

I applied online for a BS/BA Software Engineering internship for undergraduate students.

Shortly after, I was asked to fill out an intern questionnaire, covering interests and project preferences.

I was then given two technical phone interviews back-to-back. I was told I would hear back from them in two to three weeks.

Unfortunately, they chose not to move forward with my application. However, it was a good experience as the interviewers were helpful and gave me a good idea of what to expect for future interviews, especially since this was my first.

Questions

Signed an agreement to not disclose questions. The questions were very basic and fair, covering data structures, recursion, sorting, and so on.

One question was fairly difficult, and another was fairly doable.

Was this helpful?
