Cons: There are systematic problems which are not being addressed for years, like Android losing competition to Apple. Some projects are nonsense and leadership does not realize this. Although most big companies are probably worse. Even if you report Android bugs, nobody cares about fixing them, as this is never in the project's roadmap. Product managers do not care about products; all they care about is how to jump to Meta/Apple with a level up. They don't use the projects they build. Sometimes important projects are left without attention and at best, they are supported by a single enthusiast engineer in his spare time.
