The process began with a non-technical phone interview, followed by a technical phone interview that extended significantly beyond its allotted time (approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes). This extended duration was a testament to a highly engaging and productive back-and-forth conversation.

Two days later, I received an invitation for an on-site interview in Mountain View, California. The company generously covered expenses, including a two-night hotel stay, rental car, and flights.

The on-site interview took place on the third day and consisted of two back-to-back 45-minute interviews, followed by a 45-minute lunch interview. Subsequently, there were an additional three back-to-back 45-minute interviews.

One day later, my recruiter contacted me with positive news regarding my interview performance. She informed me that she would prepare my packet for submission to the hiring committee that same Thursday. (My process was accelerated due to a competing offer from Amazon.) That Thursday, I received the excellent news that the hiring committee had accepted me, and the next step was team matching, which occurred the following Monday. After team matching, all arrangements were finalized, and financial compensation was discussed. Two days later, I received my offer.

The entire process spanned approximately nine weeks. Without the competitive offer from Amazon, this would have likely taken 11-12 weeks. I extend a special thanks to my exceptional recruiter for expediting this deal so rapidly.
