Process

I had one phone interview and was invited for an on-site interview.

The phone interview was about encoding and decoding a string. The main task was to code a program that returns A3B3C2 given AAABBBCC as an input.

There were many follow-up questions, which I handled well, and I was invited for an on-site interview.

The on-site interview consisted of 5 rounds (+1 lunch round). One was a behavioral round, and the rest were data structures and algorithms rounds.

Among the four coding rounds:

  • One was about designing a class for Minesweeper.
  • I had two 2D-DP problems.
  • I had one union-find problem in my non-design rounds.
