After applying online and being in contact with someone at Google, I jumped straight into a phone interview. The interviewer was nice and friendly, and immediately moved on to a code question.
The entirety of the interview was focused on a single code question about trees.
Make sure your phone connection is solid. For some reason, my call cut out three times during the interview, which threw me off.
Also, they unfortunately do not provide any feedback regarding your performance, so you won't know where you lacked or did well.
