Process

Applied online and scheduled three phone interviews in one day.

Two of the interviewers were quite engaged, but the third one sounded bored.

Very quick turnaround time.

Some standard questions were asked about the run times of certain data structures and algorithms. You should be familiar with graph and tree search algorithms and their implementation.

There were also some brain teasers and math questions.

Questions

Given a natural number, how do you find the smallest (multi)set of perfect squares that sum to it?
