Process

I was reached out to via LinkedIn. I spoke to a recruiter, and they helped set up a phone call with one of the engineers.

During the interview, I was asked two questions, and the engineer asked follow-up questions on both.

The engineer was friendly and willing to answer my questions and help me when needed.

I was not invited for an onsite, most likely due to lackluster answers.

Questions

  1. Given a list of lists of integers. Print all first elements.

Example: {{1,2,3}, {5,4,6}} prints 1,5,2,4,3,6.

Follow-up questions involved the complexity of different implementations as well as your own.

  1. Given a list of strings, do not print duplicates.

Follow-up questions involved space and time complexity.
