I was sent a coding exam to finish in 30 minutes.
The sample question was simple enough, while the actual test had two relatively meaty questions.
They definitely presented problems that weren't the general run-of-the-mill types.
Questions
I can't put the exact problem, but my test involved string parsing and regex patterns.

Pros: Very friendly culture, incredible access to practically all company information, great people to work with and learn from.
With thousands of users every second, almost nothing is trivial, so work tends to never be boring.
The work process is very professional.
Of course, just getting to build stuff on Google's awesome infrastructure (both hw and sw) might also be considered interesting :)
Cons: Well, my salary is not particularly high.
Some of the perks listed are just subsidized, and some are not even that.
Also, there seems to be a slight trend toward money-oriented decision-making, slowly eroding Google's 'Googliness' factor.
