Pros: I'm surrounded by smart and friendly people and found a project with high code quality to work on without any trouble. Googlers want to do the right thing. It's cool. There's a lot of vegan food on the main campus, and it makes being vegan insanely easy. Since the gym is free, I've been going to the gym too, instead of just running with one of the running clubs. Perks are real :)

Cons: Like at any large company, development feels slow. We have a somewhat unique problem: a huge amount of code that doesn't scale well with existing tools. So, we make tools ourselves, but sometimes they're lacking in features that I was used to before working at Google. You have to be smart about making a fast, iterative feedback cycle for yourself if you know you'll need to tweak your code many times before you get it right.

Pros: Google provides you an opportunity to succeed and grow your career, strong management, amazing benefits, and a unique opportunity to see innovation early.

Cons: Very few. I really loved my time at Google.

Pros: Well, free coffee and the benefits.

Cons: Well, hard hours and tedious.
