This is the first interview of an internship at Google. I got the interview through an employee referral.
The interviewer was very friendly and helpful. However, I misunderstood the question at the very beginning and provided a different algorithm. In the end, I solved the problem.

The question is to find the number of connected components for an input of a doubly linked list.
