Pros: The perks, salary, and stock options are extremely competitive. You also get to work with very smart coworkers.
Cons: There aren't really any cons. It's just hard to advance if you're not in a top project team.

Pros: Lots of autonomy with the projects you take on.
There are always people willing to help you out; cross-collaboration has been great on the team I work in.
Cons: There's a little bit of "politics" and ambiguity with the promo process unless you actively work towards it with your manager on a re-occurring basis. If getting promoted quickly is your goal in a company, you may want to have other options at hand.
