I applied through my friend, who is a Google employee.

I had already interviewed last year and performed well, so my recruiter informed me that a phone interview was not required.

The interview process was organized well, despite some minor technical issues. It consisted of six sections:

• One system design section
• Four coding sections
• A lunch with a Googler

One interviewer also asked some basic knowledge-based questions.

After a week, the recruiter wrote to me, stating that the overall feedback was supportive and requesting additional information for a final review. Another week later, I received an offer.
