Process
After applying on their website, I received an email from HR to confirm a phone call session. Following the initial HR call, I received another email to confirm meetings for a behavioural interview and a coding interview. All interviews were conducted via Google Meets.
- HR phone call (15 mins)
- Behavioural interview (45 min)
- Coding interview (45 min)
After the coding interview, HR called personally to provide feedback. Unfortunately, I failed the coding interview and was not selected for the 4th and 5th interviews.
Overall, the interview process was pleasant and well-organized.

Great Company, Slow Promotions

Pros: Great company with excellent products, high ethics, employee benefits, and pay.
Managers are rated on employee satisfaction, so pay attention to this.
Coworkers are very smart, generally pleasant, and good to work with.
Cons: Very few cons. Mainly, it's getting a bit large, so it's hard to have a sense of how you are contributing. The promotion system is designed to be fair by having anonymous committees review written packets, and you can self-nominate. As a result, the burden of proving you are promotable is extremely high. You (or your manager) really have to be focused on promotion, find and work on projects with the right demonstrable complexity and impact, and have extensive written documentation and peer statements to validate. The entire process can take years.

Pros: Large variety of teams and projects, open internal mobility, strong infrastructure, still plenty of smart people around.
Cons: Starting to get a bit conservative (as in risk-averse).
Remote offices are great to visit, but the best projects are kept close to headquarters.
