Process

I completed the foobar test in order to get the interview. FooBar was very difficult, with fairly hard NP problems (e.g., Path Finding with variable blocks).

After this, I was contacted by a recruiter to schedule an interview. The recruiter was always friendly, prompt, and helpful.

A 45-minute phone interview followed, where I was asked three questions that built upon each other. The interview questions were standard LeetCode/algorithm class questions; I had seen them before academically.

About a week after the interview, I was told that I would be moving forward and was put into the host-matching phase. This meant that internship hosts would be able to see my profile for up to six weeks and schedule interviews as needed.

I received an interview request the day after, and about a week later, I found out that the host had gone with another candidate. I received another interview request the day after that. This interview went much better, and I was given an offer the day following the interview.
