Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience - Canada

Process

Coding sample/challenge (45 mins each) => back-to-back technical phone interviews => hiring committee approval => project search/host match phase => call with potential hosts => move forward with host => final offer approval.

The interviews themselves went smoothly. However, the entire process is very annoying and long.

There were usually 3 weeks between each of those steps. The project search phase is very stressful, and you are not guaranteed a match.

They should have at least one behavioral interview instead of only focusing on technical skills.
