After I sent my CV, a recruiter contacted me.

She walked me through the whole hiring process and helped me solve problems. For example, I got ill and asked to reschedule an interview. I also had a group call with other job applicants and a Google employee, who gave me detailed information about the interview.

Eventually, I had two interviews with two engineers. Each interview took about 45 minutes, with a 15-minute break in between. I had to solve a few algorithm tasks by writing code in a shared Google document, and I optimized one of them. At the end of each interview, I asked a few questions.

A week and a half later, I received a refusal.
