Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience

Process

The interview process initially included a coding sample round, followed by a brief questionnaire, and then two back-to-back coding technical interviews.

The questions were not overly difficult, and I managed to devise solutions for both. However, I was ultimately rejected. I suspect the standards for this role are exceptionally high.

Additionally, the second interviewer, who was Chinese, had a strong accent. I had to ask him to repeat questions or clarify his points multiple times. He also joined the interview 30 minutes late.

Despite these challenges, the overall experience was positive.

The first interviewer was very friendly.

The recruiter was exceptionally helpful. She followed up after each round and was remarkably quick in answering my questions. Kudos to her!
