Process
HR found an old project of mine that I had published on GitHub. They determined it could be a match for the SRE team.
HR contacted me by email, followed by a phone call where they asked basic Linux and network questions.

Lots of perks, great coworkers, good culture, but declining
SRE • Current Employee
Dublin, Leinster, Ireland

Pros: Smart coworkers, good total salary, and lots of travel opportunities.
Cons: Google values are gone. This has become a giant money-making machine, which still attracts interesting people, but for how long?
Bureaucracy and politics are growing strong, like in any big corp. Many people think about their career first, innovation second (if at all).
It's hard to feel productive and useful.
