Just wanted to share my experience with the virtual onsite interview for the Google Test Engineer position.
Among the four technical interviews, three were with test engineers and one was with a Software Engineer (SWE) lead.
The questions asked by the test engineers were straightforward, so I don't think preparing for them would have made much difference for me. However, the coding question asked by the SWE lead was totally different. Over the weekend after the onsite interview, I searched for the question and found that it was exactly the same as one of the "hard" LeetCode questions. I seriously doubt that the three test engineers would be able to solve it. The interview with the SWE lead happened to be the last one. Had that interview been scheduled earlier, I might have requested to cancel the remaining interviews, because one bad interview is enough to cause failure.
simple Python functions, string comparison, list manipulation, etc.
