Process

Initially, the process began with a phone call. We had a brief chat about Java, followed by an IQ question related to horse racing.

After that, there was an on-site interview consisting of two rounds. The more difficult round included questions about:

  • SQL query (using bits to reduce the amount of work).
  • A search question involving three words and three position lists, asking how to determine the smallest range that includes all three words.

I kind of failed both of these questions.

I arrived at 10 AM and left after the two rounds were completed. A week later, I received a phone call informing me that there was no position available.

Questions

Search question.

Three words with three position lists.
