It was a phone interview. They shortlisted students based on resumes. The questions asked were based on my resume and the projects I had completed. I did not make it past this round.

I was initially contacted by a recruiter based on my public online profiles. I had a longer phone screen with that recruiter on another date, followed by a technical phone interview. They then flew me in to interview on-site in Mountain View. This
