Great benefits package. Great products.

Cons

Google's once exemplary culture has eroded to the point that many are reluctant to question their leaders' decisions, and it has a catastrophic impact on employees and their happiness. Directors and managers in certain areas have created little empires for themselves and rule as they wish. Not the best environment to be working in, even though the brand and products are still very strong.

Advice to Management

Set clear goals for your employees and review them with your management. This way, at the end of the performance period, you are able to review apples-to-apples performance OKRs as opposed to chasing a moving target. Getting high ratings and promotions is nearly impossible at Google, and they are making it even harder.
