I got to work on an actual coding project. I created a notification center for the Android Shopping App, and I got to see my project deployed after my internship ended.
The work-life balance is amazing. Lots of free food in microkitchens, gyms, transportation, etc.
Awesome internship for freshmen and sophomores.
Google's hiring process takes forever. The original interview process took probably 2-3 months. After the internship, they took another 2 months to get back to us about return offers, whereas other company interns got their offers before their internship ended.
