I had two rounds of interviews with Google, and it was a smooth interview scheduling process. I was applying for a senior position and, I guess, wasn't qualified quite yet at the time.

The interview is very structured, and the organization provides very specific guidelines. Problems for most Software Engineer roles include questions from Data Structures and Algorithms. Problems are also asked from your Area of Work Experience.

I received a recruitment email and met with the recruiter. She explained the interview process, including the time I'd have to prep and study for the first round, and how many interviews would follow.
