I asked a friend for an internal referral. A recruiter contacted me within two days. Since I was local and had a referral, the phone screen was waived, and I proceeded directly to the on-site interview. Google offers an interview preparation class.

Good. The technical challenge was insane. The interviewer was very personable and helpful during the challenge because it was quite the algorithm needed to solve it. I was able to get it done.

The interview process was awesome. Google is very helpful in some areas and could be improved in others. I was a little scared, but it was very smooth and easy if you know this stuff. Very friendly.
