Great people, good challenging work
Great, highly knowledgeable people that are eager to learn and collaborate on interesting problems.
A blameless culture is also great. When something goes wrong, it’s about "how can we make this better or prevent it?" versus wasting time assigning blame. Tasks to fill gaps get surfaced quickly and assigned to people/teams where they make the most sense.
This usually happens before things go wrong, though.
Things aren’t as great as they used to be in terms of flexibility and peace of mind, though leaps and bounds still better than other players I’ve been.
Don’t let the culture devolve into nothing. It’s one of the core pillars that makes working at Google special.
