S-tier campus, including dozens of cafeterias and many gyms, meditation rooms, and patios. Work timelines are quite flexible as a SWE, and when you do work is less important than the work getting done.
Google's not a monolith. My position provided many opportunities to ship code and take charge on new projects, and my managers were actively helping me get promoted. But I understand this isn't the case on every team, and team placement can largely be luck-of-the-draw.
