The office politics are harsh. Not a whole lot of interesting problems outside of MTV. The size of the place may make you feel small.

The vision is strong at the top. The work gets done at the bottom. The middle is a mess. Many people seem more interested in self-promotion than the good of all, from a user and a company perspective. Being purely a middle manager in engineering should be strongly discouraged.
