Pros

Many organizations within Google have good work/life balance. The pay is still competitive and largely reflective of performance at the company. It's hard to think of a company that offers more perks and benefits than Google.

Cons

Google is a strictly hybrid company and is becoming less and less flexible with how often you can work remotely.

Google has started enforcing (not just encouraging) the use of AI tooling in workflows.

Layoffs have become somewhat common, and management has cited the cost of running AI hardware as justification.
