My team is truly filled with intelligent, kind people from around the globe.
The amount of learning can be overwhelming.
Laying people off has a lot of hidden costs in productivity, safety, and company culture. It has created a lot of distrust between upper management and the rest of the company.
I felt like this was home when I started, and now I feel like I can't count on it.

Standard interview loop for big tech. There was a remote round and then several in-person rounds. LeetCode type with one system design and one behavioral. No major surprises. The only distinguishing thing is that their process is very slow.
