Lots of perks and great work-life balance! Google really cares about its employees and its products, and it shows. It's great to be a part of such amazing innovation and to have the opportunity to work with such great minds.
Sometimes you feel like a very small fish in a big sea. The promotion process isn't the best. I've seen a number of people receive promotions who definitely didn't deserve it, while others who do get passed over.

Standard interview loop for big tech. There was a remote round and then several in-person rounds. LeetCode type with one system design and one behavioral. No major surprises. The only distinguishing thing is that their process is very slow.
The interview was amazing, but I had a misunderstanding with the interviewer. I tried to communicate with her, but I think I embarrassed myself. Overall, I got a rejection after the interview :( I hope I will get an offer next year!!!
