Decent work-life balance, decent pay, but not as much motivation
- WLB is good; most of the org I am in works ~40 hours per week.
- Pay is decent. It is not as crazy as AI startups, but I would say it is fair for most people.
Under the cloud, it is very revenue-driven. Many times you need to face the customer directly. If this is not very exciting to you, it can be tiresome.
