Good pay and good benefits for the kids.
The job is a little too boring.
I applied online through the Google website. I heard back from the recruiter after a couple of months, but then she didn't reply for months. Ultimately, after following up, she scheduled a telephonic interview. They mostly asked me system-level quest
Round 1 consisted of two separate interviews. They started with a personal question, then asked a technical question with a few follow-ups. The personal question was very obviously less important than the technical question and was probably ignored
There were 4 virtual onsite rounds, all on the same day. 3 were technical and 1 was a behavioral round (Googlyness). Questions asked were around LeetCode medium to hard, leaning more towards hard.
