I was contacted by an external recruiter (not from Google) with whom I had a 30-minute interview. Then, I had the phone screen interview. It was a coding exercise done in Google Sheets. I was interviewed by a person from India. The interviewer was

Asked to schedule a coding round. Haven't touched LCs in months. Prepped rigorously for a month and solved questions during the interview, receiving positive feedback from the interviewer. Got an email the next day saying I was rejected :)

2 phone screens, 4 on-sites, 1 team match call, 2 more on-sites only to hear a rejection. The process took 4 months. Make sure you're a patient person and don't [give up].
