Pros

Well-paid, no micromanagement, responsibility, meals, reputation.

Cons

Nobody takes responsibility for anything. It's difficult to get things done. The quality of code differs strongly with teams. Doing the right thing is not easy when all your features get punted because nobody takes responsibility to get things done.

Advice to Management

Continue to secure the quality of products across Google.

Some large projects are very badly maintained, which is clearly visible in performance, code quality, and team dynamics.
