Depends on your manager, but mostly a great gig
Work is done at a decent pace. People are understanding of it taking you a long time to get some things done. There's exposure to a lot of smart people and interesting projects. The food is incredible. Even though it's far past its heyday in terms of corporate tech fun budget, the company fun times are still fun.
Can be slow-moving. Some managers don’t really know what work to give you or how to get you started.
An entirely internal tech stack means long waits for help and long iteration times when you don’t know how to do something.
